I am a New York-born, New Jersey-bred freelance photojournalist based in Northeastern United States. My work is primarily built upon storytelling and documentary photography, with an emphasis on the visual aspects of a story and what makes a story vividly appealing through a still frame. I received a B.A. in Journalism magna cum laude from the University of Oregon, with a visual concentration in Photojournalism.
I have an immense passion for the visual aspects of not only photography and media but also the way a picture can evoke the entire process of a story. Whether that be the beginning, middle, and end of a story depicted all at once, or the process portrayed individually.
I have always had a yearning to travel the corners of the globe and have the opportunity to immerse myself in the narratives of various cultures due to my multicultural upbringing, which was a major contributor that sparked my passion to become a visual storyteller.
The joy in being a photojournalist and more importantly a storyteller is the opportunity to capture history and experiences through a lens as a means to leave a mark within the media industry and human connection itself.
Let’s not only create a story, but an everlasting representation of time and memory.
